Understanding Struck a Chord:

Have you ever come across an anecdote or song that really hit you and made you feel strong emotions or recall things? When something strikes a chord with us, it has such effect. An example is hearing about a lost puppy. This story can strike a chord in your heart if at one time when you were young, you lost any of your toys and this could bring back those sad memories and feelings. Essentially, it means it resonates with you.

How to Improve Your English by Listening to Music:

In this section, I would like to discuss how I have been learning English through music as well as share some fascinating research on the subject.

As a child (and still till now), i adored Eminem; his songs played a big part in my journey towards fluency in English. Here is what happened next:

Find a Song You Love: The first step is finding an artist or song that resonates with your heart genuinely for instance me I loved Eminem’s “I need a Doctor”. His songs did not feel like work but rather hobbies.

Listen Repeatedly: In spite of the fact that understanding the lyrics was difficult because hip hop moves too fast, I still listened to the song several times. Nevertheless, I did not stop loving Eminem.

Print the Lyrics: After listening to the song multiple times, I printed out the lyrics. By now, I was used to rhythm but still could not hear every word.

Read the Lyrics: To grasp sentences and words as well as their meanings, I studied the lyrics without music.

Combine Listening and Reading: As soon as I felt comfortable with these words, I listened again while reading from the sheets of paper where they had been printed. This enabled me to associate sounds and words in my mind.
